Jason T. Lyons
I am a professional illustrator and educator with degrees from both Brigham Young University (BA Art Education and French Education) and the Savannah College of Art and Design (MA Illustration). I have done freelance work creating images across various markets while teaching and sharing my passion for art with students for the last 9 years.

I love educating students, discussing social issues, doing service, and solving creative problems. I am also passionate about stories, especially those that uplift and inspire. Creating artwork that does the same is what gets me up in the morning.

My skills in both technological media and traditional drawing/painting lend themselves nicely to creating work for such storytelling. I blend my abilities in a unique style that juxtaposes rendered drawing and realism with flat graphic shapes. This style is well suited for book cover and editorial illustration, but my skill set is easily utilized across a variety of illustration and design markets.

I currently live with my wife in the Western United States. We love to travel the world together and coach cross country and girls basketball in our free time.
